Dr. Layne McCord knew he wanted to be an Orthodontist at the age of 16 after shadowing a local orthodontist. He saw the joy that beautiful smiles brought to the patients being treated and wanted to be part of that endeavor. While attending dental school at the University of Louisville, he completed a concurrent Master's Degree in Oral Biology. He then attended the University of Iowa, where he earned an additional Master's Degree in Orthodontics. After residency, he and his wife decided to move to Idaho and do a scratch start. His practice soon became one of the largest practices in Southeast Idaho. He is passionate about orthodontics and has a strong desire to help his colleagues better understand orthodontic insurance and how it impacts their office and patients.
