Dr. Aldin Kapetanović is an orthodontist and scientific researcher. He earned his dental degree from K.U. Leuven, Belgium, and completed his orthodontic specialization at Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, in 2019, where he also successfully defended his PhD.
Dr. Kapetanović conducts clinical research in the field of Miniscrew-Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion (MARPE). Notably, his doctoral work led to the development of an enhanced version of the MARPE appliance, known as the Dutch Maxillary Expansion Device. He facilitated the adoption of MARPE at Radboud University Medical Centre, making it the pioneering European hospital to implement MARPE extensively.
Dr. Kapetanović's contribution to orthodontic research is evidenced from his published work in prominent orthodontic journals and his presentations at well-known conferences such as the AAO and EOS.
He combines his role as a research supervisor at Radboud University with his clinical duties as an orthodontist in private practices in the Netherlands and Belgium.
