Dr. Katie Klein is a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She graduated from the 7-year accelerated B.S./D.M.D. program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in the U.S. Air Force. She subsequently served as a general dentist and officer in the U.S. Air Force. Following her service, she earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, where she was an Andrew M. Brooks Fellow. For over a decade, she was an Assistant Professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where she co-directed the Orthognathic Surgery Team and was a member of the Cleft Lip and Palate Team at MGH-Shriners Hospital for Children. Two years ago, she recently realized her dream of opening a boutique orthodontic practice, "Katie Klein Orthodontics," in Needham, a western suburb of Boston, dedicated to personalized, high-quality orthodontic care. Passionate about service, she contributes to the profession through various orthodontic leadership roles at the state, regional, and national levels. She currently serves as the President-Elect of NESO and as a Delegate to the AAO. She is actively involved in teaching and serves as the Course Director of the Surgical Orthodontics Course for second-year orthodontic residents at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
