The lecture will cover the results of a 3D voxel-based analysis focusing on skeletal stability in patients undergoing 2-jaw correction for Class III malocclusion with the virtual planning performed in Dolphin Imaging software by the orthodontist collaborating closely with the maxillofacial surgeon. The presentation will include the results of both qualitative and quantitative analyses.
Learning Objectives:
After this session, attendees will be able to:
Demonstrate that there is a slight deviation in maxillary advancement following surgical repositioning when compared to the virtual planning.
Show the high accuracy achieved in mandibular repositioning, both in linear and angular movements, in comparison to the planned positions.
To show the occurrence of a minor lateral displacement in the repositioned mandibular proximal segments compared to the initially planned position
