Nasoalveolar Molding (NAM) device reduces the initial cleft severity and simplifies the later surgeries these patients go through. Nevertheless, the use of the appliance can put families through an excessive burden of care and they may suffer from different stress and anxiety degrees. This presentation will assess the perception, attitude and opinion of parents of patients with cleft lip and palate treated with this appliance and will discuss the keys to guarantee adherence to treatment.
