In this presentation, the following main topics will be addressed. First, the method of distalization and which appliance to use will be introduced. Next, the biomechanics underlying total arch distalization, including evidence-based values for how much distalization to expect will be discussed. Furthermore, Dr. Kook will explore the stability of total arch distalization. Additionally, the role of third molar eruption in non-extraction cases will be considered.
Learning Objectives:
After this session, attendees will be able to:
Outline the 3D digital workflow sequence, and treatment indications for total arch distalization.
Implement a creative and innovative approach for Class II correction using multi-purpose C-palatal appliance.
Consider clinical pearls and a simple management of modified C-palatal plate (MCPP).
