Various methods of aligning ankylosed teeth using distraction osteogenesis (DO) are described using case studies. In order to reduce side effects, methods using TADs or a wire frame will be introduced. Anterior open bite, posterior open bite (eruption failure), and three-dimensional movement of canines will be explained using DO. Step-by-step photos will easily explain the treatment process and answer questions about long-term stability.
