In this presentation, we'll discuss a customized prescription selection for fixed appliances and aligner treatment which impact finishing as well as mechanical strategies to understand the steps leading to a better orthodontic finish. Specific finishing tips on each tooth type (incisors, canines, premolars and molars) will also be presented along with the use of TADs to reduce mandibular shift. The speaker will demonstrate why integrating the use of intraoral scanner is a practical finishing tool for occlusal adjustment. She'll also discuss the finishing impact of anterior and posterior tooth size discrepancies via multidisciplinary cooperation and share an analysis of favorable situations and problems that compromise treatment timing and results.
