Dental Monitoring (DM) is a novel remote monitoring technology that aims to reduce the need for in-person clinical appointments. This lecture presents the results of a RCT assessing the number of clinical appointments in clear aligner therapy patients monitored remotely. It also assessed the number of refinements, number of total aligners, overall treatment duration, quality of outcome, as well as the patients’ experience with the use of DM.
