Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being applied to research and clinical practice in various fields including orthodontics. How does AI understand malocclusion and diagnostic data used for orthodontic treatment? How can we make better AIs for orthodontists and how can orthodontists benefit from these AIs? This lecture is designed to help the audience answer these questions. And, studies and cases in which AI helps diagnosis and treatment planning in orthodontics will be discussed.
